Lafayette Glenn Kerr, 91 of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at her home. She was retired custodian at the Poteau Schools and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Kerr; two brothers, Myron Ray Glenn and H.L. Glenn; one sister, Willie Farrar and her parents, Hubert and Isabelle Glenn.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Lee Kerr of Muskogee; two daughters, Gilbert O. Stone of Poteau and Carol Lennier and her husband, Charles of Poteau; one brother, Carl Glenn of Texas; four sisters, Lenora Echols of Texas, Lillian Roberts of Hackett, AR, Thelma Coonce of Reno, NV and Shirley Israel of Hackett, AR; 7 grandchildren,
Stan Stone, Mike Lennier, Jonathan Kerr, Rhonda Baggs, Lesli Lennier, Cindi Lennier and Kerry Edwards; 10 great grandchildren, Kaden Kerr, Jax Kerr, Will Edwards, Lizzie Edwards, Annabelle Edwards, Brandon Stone, Justin Stone, Jacob Baggs, Katheryn Lennier and Kristopher Lennier.
Funeral services were held 2 pm, Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Interment followed in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Pallbearers were Mike Lennier, Stan Stone, Jonathan Kerr, Brandon Stone, Justin Stone, Jacob Baggs, and Kristopher Lennier.
