John C. Pfalzgraf Jr.


     John C. Pfalzgraf Jr., 77, of Monroe, OK passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 in Talihina, OK.   John was born March 16, 1941 in Ft. Smith, AR to John Sr. & Amy Fay (Beaty) Pfalzgraf.  He was a veteran of the US Army.  John was a ‘Jack of All Trades”.  He was preceded in death by his parents & an infant sister.
          Survivors include his faithful companion, Linda Smith; dear friends, Jim & Chris McCormick, Joe & Susie Hancock, John & Virginia Sanders, Shawn & Tina Knight; too many wonderful friends to mention all.
          Services will be 2 pm, Monday, December 3, 2018 at Monroe Cemetery Pavilion with Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow.

Eugene L. Ross


 Eugene L. Ross, 95, of LeFlore, OK passed away  Monday, November 26, 2018 in LeFlore  Eugene was born July 3, 1923, in LeFlore, OK to Clarence & Lula (Jones) Ross.  He was a truck driver.  Eugene was a veteran of the US Army; wounded in WWII while serving in the South Pacific & the Philippines.   He liked to hunt, play pool, BBQ and was known to be the life of the party.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley; sons, Richard Wayne Disney, Steven Eugene Ross, Roger Ross & Ronnie Dale Ross; daughter, Eva  Ferchau; sister, Cleo Muse, Mildred Felind, Billie Wheeler & Dona Owens.
          Survivors include his son, Michael Eugene Ross of Maricopa, CA; daughters, Sheilla Denise Ross Bly of Ft. Smith, AR, Gina Ross of Bucyrus, KS; brother, Eudell Ross of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Lavonne Semore of Ridgecrest, CA; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
          Services will be 2 pm, Saturday,  December 1, 2018 graveside, at LeFlore Cemetery, with James Crowson officiating.  Pallbearers will be Jerry Blasingame, Dustin Mayer, Hank Ingle, Jesse Ingle, Joey Wheat, Rick Wheat.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Bob Neal.
          The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

William McKinney


William Rudolph McKinney, 69, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 in Ft. Smith, AR.  William was born May 16, 1949 in Heavener, OK to Edgar & Mannie (Coburn) McKinney.  He was a veteran of the US Army and worked in the oil field.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Jane Ann Remer


Jane Ann Remer, 86, of Heavener, OK passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Little Rock, AR.  Jane was born January 21, 1932 in Dora, AL to Joe & Dollie (Keeton) Ledbetter.  She was the owner of a meat processing plant.  Jane belonged to the Panama Church of the Nazarene.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Remer.

          Survivors include her children, Debbie & Johnny Janway, Al & Mary Monks, Ronnie & Debbie Monks; numerous grand and great grandchildren.

          Private services will be held.

Sampson S. Conrad


Sampson Sumler Conrad, 82, of Greenwood, AR passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in Ft. Smith, AR.  Sampson was born September 25, 1936 in Murry Spur, OK to Koots Farmer & Opal Rebecca (Ward) Conrad.  He was retired as a group coordinator for Rheem after 30 years.  He was  preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Robert McDonald; brother, K.F. Conrad; sister, Mary Florence Martin and grandson, Douglas Alan Seamans.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Joyce (Karl) ;  daughters & sons in law, Tanya & Rick Cusick, Tamera & Brad Floyd; grandchildren, Heather Wynn, Blake Seamans, Michael, Brandon & Breanna Cusick; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Conrad & wife Sue, Roger Conrad; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Free Will Baptist Church, Greenwood, AR with Jim Walker officiating.  Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK.   Pallbearers will be Russell Thomas, Steve Coleman, Brandon & Michael Cusick, Blake Seamans, Brad Floyd.  Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Karl, Gerald Thomas, J.E. McKinney, Ken Brown & Brad Smith.
          The family will be at the funeral home in Pocola on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
