James Wesley "Boomer" Woodruff, 39, of Wister, OK passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in Wister. Boomer was born June 5, 1970 in Ft. Smith, AR to Bill & Jeanette Woodruff of Wister, OK. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Christine Slone & aunt, Diane Slone.
Survivors include his parents; sister & brother in law, Renay & Chuck Lewis of Wister, OK; niece, Tammy Lewis of Poteau, OK; nephew, Nathan Lewis of Wister, OK; grand niece, Brylie Holland of Poteau, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be held 2 pm, Friday, May 7, 2010 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK. Pallbearers will be Bill Woodruff, Chuck Lewis, Nathan Lewis, & Thomas Potter.
