Lin Cravens

Lindsley Hugh Cravens, 54, of Wister, OK passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 in St. Louis, MO.  Lin was born August 4, 1966 in Denton, TX to Donald Royce  & Francie (Flint) Cravens.  Lin loved hunting, fishing, ammo reloading and spending time with his grandchildren.   By his own admission his nickname “Tumbleweed” aptly described his lifestyle prior to meeting Marie.  In the last eight years he had settled down and become the ‘cattle baron’ he had always wanted to be  - watching over his four cows.

 Survivors include his wife, Marie Spiller-Cravens; children, Lindsley Hugh Cravens II, Kalin Dian Cravens, Daniel James Cravens, Beth Anne Chadrick, Jennifer Marie England; grandchildren, Brinleigh Renee Cravens, Emma Kaye Cravens, Stormi Nicole Chadrick, Zaylee Ann Chadrick, Sylas Rayne Gibbons, Quinlan Belle Smith, Maddox Dray England, Azelya Hazel Grace England, Jaymion Thrad England; brother – Wesley Lynn Cravens;  his extended family, Kim & Wendell Skinner, Toby Skinner, Daniel Hart, Jesse Tomlinson, Ethan Skinner, Nelson Skinner, Stormy Patterson (Ty, Savonah, Lanah, Liviah), Gary  Payne, Nick Bacon; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

 A Celebration of Lin’s Life will be 2 pm, Friday, July 2, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church in Red Oak, OK with Bro Bob Cherry officiating.

Robert Hvamstad

 

Robert Hvamstad, 68 of Shady Point Ok passed away in his home on Sunday June 27, 2021 surrounded by his wife, kids and granddaughter when the Lord came to take him to his forever home. He was born December 12, 1952 in Liberty TX to Nathaniel Harvey and Flora Belle (Latz) Hvamstad. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Chuck Hvamstad, his father in law and mother in law Cecil and Mildred Bledsoe.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Diana Hvamstad of the home, Son and Daughter in law Chad and Suzanne Hvamstad of Booneville Arkansas, Daughter and Son in law Lacy and Matelan Sims of Greenwood Arkansas, Son and Daughter in law Robert Louis and Mary Hvamstad of Big Foot TX; 6 grandchildren Hailey Hvamstad, Ryker Sims, Gunner Hvamstad, Brynix Sims, Katlyne Hilton and Cody Hvamstad; 3 Great- grandchildren Audrey, Harper and Emberlynn, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Graveside Services will be at Shady Point Cemetery, 10 am, Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Marilyn Sue Weldon

 


Marilyn Sue Weldon, 63, of Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Poteau.  Marilyn was born February 18, 1958 in Chicago, IL to Charles Ray “Red” & Carmel Catherine Cloud.  She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Harlon Lewis Cloud.

Survivors include her husband, Patrick; sons, Duane & wife Amy Weldon, Blake & wife Jennifer Weldon; sisters, Jeanie Young & husband Mike; brothers, Carlon Cloud & wife Lola, Chuck Cloud (Charles Ray Jr.); mother, Carmel Cloud; grandchildren, Bryce Weldon, Tate Weldon, Joshua Weldon, Madison Weldon, Jonah Weldon, Annabelle Weldon & Jayden Castellanos; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

 The family will receive visitors on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm.  Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
