Janet Sue (Mobley) Cagle


Janet Sue (Mobley) Cagle, 66, of Pocola, OK passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at her home.  Jan was born March 4, 1951 in Ft. Smith, AR to Owen Buford & Margie Kathryn (Suttles) Mobley.  She worked at Pocola Public Schools.  She was preceded in death by her parents and father in law, Harry Cagle.



Janet Leaves behind her loving husband of 30 years, Brad Cagle of the home; daughters,  Katie Sue Cagle of Greenwood, AR, Kimberly Bearden of Pocola, OK; grandson, Miguel Mobley, who was like a son, of Ft. Smith, AR, three other grandchildren;  two sisters, Onada Ames and Kat Martin of Ft. Smith, AR; one brother, Johnny Mobley of Ft. Smith, AR; mother in law, Charlene Cagle of Pocola, OK as well as several nieces and nephews who will miss their "Aunt Net";  other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, April  4, 2017 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.   Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery, Pocola.  Pallbearers will be John Mobley Jr., Joseph Martin, J.J. Ames, Rudy Suttles, Aaron Cagle & Doug Cagle.


The family will be at the funeral home in Pocola on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

A memorial fund has been established at Central National Bank, Pocola

Tommy Walker



Tommy L. Walker, 70, of Poteau, OK passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Tulsa, OK.  Tommy was born July 9, 1946 in Elk City, OK to Les & Addie (Biggs) Walker.  He was a veteran of  the US Navy.  Tommy was an electronic technician for the Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, TX; and  a prison guard for the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana.  He retired after 30 years of federal service.  He enjoyed life to the fullest; meeting people; watching football and going to rodeos.  He loved his horses and dogs.  People never forgot him after meeting him.  Tommy was preceded in death by his mother Addie Walker, sister, Linda and brother, Jimmy.

Survivors include  his wife, Frances of the home; sons, Wade Walker & Hiram Walker, Kevin Payne & wife Trish; granddaughters, Abagail Walker & Sara Payne; grandsons, Eli Walker & Derrek Payne; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm,  Saturday, April 1, 2017 at New Beginnings Church, Poteau, OK with Pastors Marshall  Faulkenberry Jr. & Don Martin officiating.  Burial will follow in Maxey Cemetery, Wister, OK.  Pallbearers will be Derric McFarland, Jimmy Thomas, Josh Miller, Mike Morgan,  J.C. Byous, & Bud Killion.

The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Michael Dean Rodgers



Michael Dean Rodgers, 33, of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 in Poteau, OK.  Michael was born August 16, 1983 in Chickasha, OK to Wade & Shirley Rodgers.  He loved being out in nature.  He loved  camping, hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and motorcycles.  He was accomplished at small engine repair and had a knack for fixing things.  He enjoyed traveling and working in the oilfield, which gave him the opportunity to see many different parts of the country.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barney & Audrey (Nye) Rodgers of Bradley, OK and Johnnie & Dollie (Crims) Gwin of Talihina, OK.



Survivors include his parents, Barney Wade & Shirley Rodgers; brothers, Tommy & Gary Rodgers of Shady Point, OK; step-sister, Michele Marvel and husband John Marvel Sr. of Poteau, OK; step-brothers, Bryan and wife, Denice Rodgers and Brad Rodgers all of Howe, TX; three daughters, Trinity and Elizabeth Rodgers of Wister, OK and Emry Stricklin of Ft. Smith, AR.

Michelle Anne Green, 57, of Wister, OK passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Wister.  Michelle was born May 30, 1959 in Walnut Creek, CA to Bruce & Joanne (Holum) Bettis.  She was a real estate agent.

Bill Maynor



Billy Ray "Bill" Maynor, 70, of  Wilburton, OK passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at his home.  Bill was born May 18, 1946 in Bokoshe, OK to George & Vera (Clark) Maynor.  He was a logger and a veteran of the US Army.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Waylon Crenshaw; 3 sisters, Jeanie, June & Ruth and 2 brothers, Kenneth & Tony.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda (Biggs) Maynor of the home; daughters, Sandy Hamman, Marci & husband  Leif Bauer all of Poteau, OK; 8 stepdaughters; 18 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Tipton & husband Gilbert, Jo Maner & husband Bob; brother, George Maynor & wife Reah; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Visitation will be 1-5 pm, Friday, March 31, 2017 at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Community State Bank Banquet Room at 6 pm, Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Ronald Steven Cauthen



 
Ronald Steven Cauthen, 57, of Heavener, OK passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017  at his home.  Ron was born July 7, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to W.L. & Barbara (Patterson) Cauthen.   He was in the National Guard for 12 years and was a diesel mechanic.   He was preceded in death by his parents.  He loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma; daughters, Rhonda & Jeff Montgomery of Heavener, OK, Sue Ann & Nathan Goodwin of  Shady Point, OK; son, Steven Cauthen of Heavener, OK; grandsons, Tristen & Tucker Goodwin, Dakota & Jeffery John Montgomery; sisters, Dorothy & Ken Butler, Sharon & Fred VanPelt of Elmer, OK; brothers, Timothy & Jennifer Cauthen of Monroe, Jonathan & Michelle Cauthen of Howe; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 graveside at Hodgen Cemetery with Rev. Joe Hayden Hall officiating.
