Allen Mark Dodd, 48, of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 in Poteau, OK. Mark was born September 28, 1961, in Durant, OK to Barney & Emma V. (Brewer) Dodd. Mark was a bricklayer. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Sam Dodd; sisters, Bobbie Abbott & Mary Robinson; granddaughter, Kenia Hernandez & stepfather, Bob Leikam.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Lynn & Deanna Dodd of Sherman, TX; daughter, Elisha Dodd of Sherman, TX; grandchildren, Paige Dodd & Iggy Hernandez; brothers & sisters in law, Richard & Dawn Houston of Wasilla, AK, Roger & Diana Houston of Durant, OK, David & Dena Dodd of Prairie Grove, AR, John Dodd of Shady Point,OK; sisters & brothers in law, Lilly & Lloyd Newkirk of Calera, OK, Norma 'Deanie' & Joe Huffman of Bokoshe, OK; mother, Emma V. Leikman of Durant, OK
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m.,Thursday, May 6, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church in Howe, OK with Rev. Jack Barron officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Panama, OK. The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 pm Wednesday evening to visit with relatives & friends.
