David Douglas Chapman Savage

David Douglas Chapman Savage, 66, of Pocola, OK passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 in Pocola. David was born in Detroit, MI on November 27, 1943 to Issac Douglas & & Margaret A. (Conquest) Savage. He was a retired factory worker for General Motors. David was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in Vietnam. He loved to talk on CB; going to coffee shops and talking to friends and playing bingo. He was a member of Harvest Time and Evangel Temple. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Mrs. Savage, and daughter, Debra Savage. Survivors include 3 daughters & sons in law, Kimberly & Bill Irvin of Ft. Smith, AR, Billie & Randy Thompson of Liberty, TX, Lori Regaldo of Ft. Smith, AR; 1 son and daughter in law, David Michael & Lapita Savage of Ft. Smith, AR; 1 brother & sister in law, Thomas & Janie Savage of Clio, MI; 22 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 nephews, 1 niece; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Memorial Services were held 10 am, Friday, May 7, 2010 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
