Wish I could have been there today to say goodbye to a wonderful man. Coach Fulks had a positive impact on so many young lives. He was definitely a gentle giant whose bark was MUCH louder than his bite. He would have given you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was such a caring man, but just showed it in a little different way than most. I can guarantee that if you got yelled at it was because he cared. He was only trying to get the best out of you because he saw something in you that you might not have even seen yourself. He will be missed and my prayers are with his family. I am blessed to have shared a little piece of my life with him.

So sorry to hear of this loss. What a great coach he was. I am thankful to have been coached by him. He certainly could get your attention when he needed to but it was only because he cared. Cheri, I remember in 4th grade when he would come to see you in class, he had a sparkle in his eye for you. He loved you so much!! So sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed!!!! --Kathryn Lyons Punneo

"And I said to myself, I said self... because nobody was listening to me anyway." I can't tell you how many times I overheard him say this in the locker room at Lone Grove football practice. Even when he was trying to be serious, he was horsing around with us in his own caring way. Well Coach, we did listen to you and learned a lot from your unique style. Thank you.

Prayers and sympathies for his family and friends,

Dustin Daugherty
