Aleen Goodwin, 89, of Cameron,
OK passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Poteau, OK. Aleen was born in Meg, AR to
Joseph Alexander & Susie Rachel (Bryant) Owen. Aleen was a homemaker. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Herman Thomas Goodwin; brothers, Ernie and Stanford Owen,
Raymond Martin; sisters, Faye Marie Dees, Geneva Towery, Odie Laymon.
Survivors include daughter, Mary Lou Courtney of Poteau;
sons & daughters in law, Chester Goodwin & Pat Pickle of Poteau; Steven
& Janice Goodwin of Cameron, OK; brother, Leon Owen of Blue Eye, MO;
sisters, Thelma Durant of Wyoming, Luveda Baggs of Poteau, OK, Lottie Goodwin
of Cameron, Edith Hale of Poteau, OK; grandchildren, Alicia Ann Pipkins
O’Connell, Edward Irwin Courtney II, Andrew Thomas Courtney, Stephanie Houstyn
Goodwin; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Friday, May 3, 2013 graveside at
Fairhill/Knothole Cemetery, Cameron,
OK. Burial will follow.
