Norma Jean Kuecken, 70, of Spiro, OK passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in Spiro, Oklahoma. Norma was born on June 3, 1938 in Red Oak, OK to Chester Ray & Hazel Lorene (Sloan) Mize. She was a homemaker. Norma’s parents, her husband, George Lloyd Kuecken, and a daughter, Frieda May Gilbreath preceded her in death
Norma is survived by a daughter & son in law, Melba Jean & Russell Daniel of Spiro, OK; 4 grandchildren, Georgina Daniel of Spiro, OK, Lloyd E. Kuecken of the home; Elizabeth Ann Daniel of Spiro, OK & Christopher Gilbreath of the home; 2 brothers, Oscar William Mize of Cache, OK & James Edward Mize of Spiro, OK; numerous other relatives & loved ones; and many beloved friends.
Funeral services for Norma were held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with the Reverend Leonard Cook officiating. Interment followed the services at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, OK. Pallbearers were Howard Goins, Bill Goins, David Goins, AJ Hanna, Jerry Hensley, & Clayton Goins. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Lovejoy & Josh Mantooth. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
