Delmar Riley Turner, 82, of Summerfield, OK passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 in Summerfield. He was born in Summerfield on January 25, 1926, to Emit & Florance (Rogers) Turner. Delmar was a rancher and a farmer. He served in WWII with the US Navy. His parents preceded him in death as well as his wife, Aladean; sisters, Ethel & Inona Turner; & brothers, Eugene & Archie Turner.
He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Cogburn of Summerfield, OK; grandchildren, Samantha Ann Cogburn Steelman & husband, Mackie Jr. of Summerfield, John Cogburn & Andrew Cogburn of Summerfield. Great grandchildren, Makayla Steelman & Colt Steelman; sister, Rosie Loyd of Summerfield & brother, Tom Turner of Missouri; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services 2 pm, Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at the Pavilion in Summerfield Cemetery with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment Summerfield Cemetery
