Billy George Davis, 52, of Cameron, OK passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in Cameron. Billy was born on March 14, 1956 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to Raymond & Anna Lee (Harris) Davis. Billy was an electrician. He loved hunting & fishing. His father, a brother Dewitt Davis; a sister, Goldie Saulsberry, & a daughter, Mary Raylene Davis precedes him in death.
Billy is survived by 2 sons, Billy Joe Davis of Theodore, AL & Chris Meeder of Fort Smith, AR; 5 grandchildren, Shelby & Nathan Davis, Bryant, Gage, & Jessie Meeder; his mother, Anna Lee Davis of Spiro, OK; 2 sisters & brothers in law, Sharon & Donald Baxter of Panama, OK & Joyce & Ed Marks of Lockney, TX; 2 brothers & sister in law, Raymond Lee & Fran Davis of Barling, AR & Jessie Davis of Spiro, OK; the mother of his children, Mary Stewart of Cameron, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & loved ones; and many beloved friends.
Funeral services for Billy were held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with the Reverend Ed Marks & Raymond Lee Davis officiating. Interment followed the services in Greenhill Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, OK. Pallbearers were Roger Cody, Jr., David “Dave” Edwards, Daniel Edwards, Fred Plymale, Robbie Tran, & Jessie Davis, Jr.

I amd so sorry for your loss. Bill was one of the kindest and warmhearted people I have ever known, he will be missed. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
