Marvin O. Tankersley Jr., 83, of Pocola, OK passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. Marvin was born March 29, 1929 in Cameron, OK to M.O. & Jennie (Maple) Tankersley. He was an electrician. Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents; brothers, Ray, Owren, Alfred & Bud. He was a retired Navy Chief. He also retired from Chrysler-Dalmer Corp.
Survivors include his daughter & son in law, Trish & Scott Smith of Bear, Delaware; sisters, Joyce Minks & Jerry Ward of Pocola, OK; brothers, Wayne Tankersley of Pocola, OK, Paul & Roy Tankersley of Cameron, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will have visitation only from 6-8 pm, Thursday evening, May 17, 2012 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Pocola, OK.
