Wanda Louise Combs, 75, of Heavener, OK passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 in Heavener. Wanda was born in Hartford, AR on November 15, 1934 to Chalres & Velta Vay(Wilson) McAdoo. She loved sewing, crocheting, swimming, cooking, music, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Combs; grandsons, Daniel Spargo & Jerod Wilson; brothers, Thurman & Larry McAdoo; and sisters, Mildred Newman & LaVern Combs.
Survivors include her daughters, Janice Spargo of Wister, OK, Deborah Goldsmith of Mechanicsville, MD; Nancy Combs of Caraway, AR, Cynthia Harris of Sallisaw, OK; sons, Vincent Combs of Kingsport, TN and Barry Combs of Sallisaw, OK; 11 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; sister, Jean Riggs of Monroe, OK; brother, Charles McAdoo of Carbon, TX; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services were held 10 am, Monday, March 15, 2010 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment followed in Monroe Cemetery, Monroe, OK. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
