Jimmie Doyle Byous, 77, of Wister, OK passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Wister. He was born in Wister, OK on September 29, 1932 to Luther & Elsie (Cope) Byous. Jimmie was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice King & his parents. He was a rancher.
Survivors include a special nephew, Bob and wife, Denise King of Livermore, CA; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be held 2 pm, Friday, March 5, 2010 at Ellis Chapel Church in Wister, OK with Rev. Jack Covey & Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister. Pallbearers will be Rick Crane, Rocky Crane, Donnie Shadwick, Gene Ward, Wayne Meeks & Johnny Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Podie Meeks, Mack Smith, Peanut Newman, Clyde Byous, & Scott Shadwick.
