Johnnie Girl Martin-Goodson, 93 yrs, was born August 31, 1928. Johnnie was the daughter of Virgil & Minnie Martin. She had 7 brothers and sisters and was raised in Buck Creek, Oklahoma. Johnnie graduated from Panama High School.
Johnnie married Mike E Goodson in 1946, was married for 68 yrs. They had four children Edison J Goodson-Krebs, Ok, Toni – Jim Montessi, Porter, Ok, Michael R -Ellen Goodson, Alb., NM, Wesley D -Michele Goodson Alb., NM. Johnnie lived in Albuquerque for 63 yrs and was a member of the Alameda Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Worked in the Nursery for years. She retired from APS cafeteria where she had enjoyed cooking for years. Johnnie had 7 Grandkids, 8 Great Grandkids and 1 Great Great Grandson along with many nieces , nephews, and good friends.
There will be a memorial service at Evans-Miller Funeral Home Monday Jan 10th at
2:00 pm with graveside services following at Shady Point Cemetery in OK. In lieu of flowers please donate to Shady Point Cemetery Assoc., PO Box 206, Shady Point, OK 74956
