Patricia Ann Isaac



Patricia Ann Isaac, 91, of Spiro, OK passed  away Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Poteau.  Patricia was born March 7, 1926 in Spiro, OK to James Melton & Tennie Lee (Sherwood) Cusick.  She was a waitress.  Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Presley Isaac; 9 brothers & sisters; 1 daughter & 2 grandchildren.



Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Graywolf of Spiro, OK, Sue Hedges of Poteau, OK; sons, Bobby Isaac of Poteau, OK, Dusty Isaac of Sallisaw, OK, Steve Isaac of Spiro, OK; 17 grandchildren; numerous great & great great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, November 1, 2017 graveside at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK with Jim Cook officiating.  Pallbearers will be Bobby, Dusty & Steve Isaac, Presley Lawson, Tim &  Sam McKinney.   Honorary pallbearers Nelson Hedges, Stephen Isaac Jr.



Alma Johnson



Alma Beatrice Johnson, 99, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Poteau.  Alma was born April 7, 1918 in Love County, OK to Benjamin Franklin & Edith (Karstetter) McCullough.  She was a teacher.  Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Orville ( 9/16/1991) ; her parents Rev. Benjamin & Edith McCullough; and one son, John David.

Survivors include son & daughter in laws, Donald R. & Sandra Johnson of Muskogee, OK,  Elizabeth Johnson of Sand Springs, OK;  daughter & son in law, Patricia & Williams K.  Gilstrap of Poteau, OK;   9 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau with Rev. Phil McGehee officiating.  The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Contributions may be made in honor of Orville & Alma Johnson to the Development Foundation at CASC.

Ed Riley

Edward Van Riley, 84, of Poteau, OK passed away  Thursday, October 26, 2017  in Poteau.  Ed was born August 14, 1933 in Wilburton, OK to Van & Lilly Mae (Lucas) Riley.   Ed dropped out of school at the age of 17 to join the National Guard.  He returned to finish school and receive a BA in elementary education from Northeastern State University.  Ed taught for 16 years.  He also went to seminary/OBU  and was  Baptist pastor for 50 years before he retired.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Earlene (Jan 24, 2013); son, Steven Riley and sister Mary Alice Smallwood.



Survivors include his sons & daughters in law, Mark & Shaylene Riley of Poteau, Paul & Terri Riley of Bokoshe, OK, Phillip Riley of Cameron, OK; grandchildren, Tony & Misty Riley, Dustin Riley, Nathan Riley, Mathew Riley, Angie Lambert, Summer Ringlen, Brandon Forest; great grandchildren, Kainan Riley, Kaydi Riley, Whitney Lambert, Rebecca Lambert, Brayden Armstrong, Paxton Turnipseed, Ryan Turnipseed, Tristin Riley; great great grandchild, Amyiah Brown; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 2 pm, Monday, October 30, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Revs. Garry Haskins & Brant Toney officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK.  Pallbearers will be  Eddy Reed, Rick Hamilton, Ryan Turnipseed, Brayden Armstrong, Tony Riley, Dustin Riley.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kainan Riley, Nathan Riley, Kevin Gee.

Colena J. Bratcher, 84, of Stigler, OK passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Stigler.  Colena was born November 5, 1932.   Services will be 2 pm, Friday, October 27, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery

Carl Woolverton



Carl Wayne Woolverton Sr., 84, of Poteau, OK passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Carl was born March 28, 1933 in Talihina, OK to Everett & Elsie (Lollar) Woolverton.  He was a carpenter.  Carl was a veteran of the US Air Force.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wives & Lorraine & Barbara.



Survivors include his sons & daughter in law, Carl Wayne Jr. & Stephanie Woolverton of Sutter Creek, CA, Lawrence Woolverton of Beaverton, OR; daughters, Deborah LaLonde of Tigard, OR, Susan Christianson of Ft. Worth, TX, Janice Bowler of Springfield, MO, Lisa Bonnet of Hutto, TX; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Kay Whiteaker of Auburn, CA; brother, Don Woolverton of Talihina, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Ronnie Chumley



Ronnie Gene Chumley, 74, of Panama, OK passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Panama, OK.  Ronnie was born March 31, 1943 in Morris, IL to Clayton Falvy & Omega Maxine (Eubanks) Chumley.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force; and an ironworker.  He was a member of the Local Aerie 3860 Past President and Past OK State President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles; a member of Murdock Masonic Lodge,  VFW and DAV.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Ella and grandson, Aiden Plumlee.
