Trebreh Dean Brown


Trebreh Dean Brown, 87, of   Broken Arrow, OK (formerly of Bokoshe, OK)  passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 in Broken Arrow.   She was born August 8, 1932 in Calhoun,  OK to Marion F. & Juel Ada (Brown) Hood.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Brown; son, Rus Brown; granddaughter, Lauren; 5 brothers, Roy, Odell, DE, Ken & Leon; sister, Madge.

Survivors include her son, Ron Brown of Flint, TX; daughter in law, Suzan Nash & husband Phillip of Broken Arrow, OK; sister, Dorothy Mos of Independence, MO; 3 grandchildren, Eric, Lindsey & Laine; 6 great grandchildren, Gillian, Samuel, Nathan, Lauren, Alex and Ari; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Monday February 3, 2020 at the Old Bokoshe Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Larry DeLay officiating.  The family will be at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm to visit with relatives and friends.

Norma Mabry


Norma L. Mabry, 90, of Pocola, OK passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 in Spiro, OK. Norma was born April 11, 1929 in Holdenville, OK to William Newton & Nettie Viola (Goss) Perkins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Mabry; her parents; son, Ronald Mabry; brother, Donald Perkins; granddaughter, Kasey Jackson and sister Doris Estrada.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Mabry of Pocola; grandchildren, Travis Edwards and Clinton Moffet;   great grandchildren, Riley & Jackson Moffet and Tyler Jackson; sisters, Joye Gilbert & Jeanette Pike; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Monday, February 3, 2020 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola, OK with Rev. Preston Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Fanshawe Cemetery.

Mary F. Ritter


Mary Francis Ritter, 80, (formerly of Poteau, OK)  passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Rogers, AR.  Mary was born  November 23, 1939 in Heavener, OK to Arthur & Elizabeth (Fruen) Morrison.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Ritter; son, Clifford Ritter; her parents; and brother, Thomas Morrison.

Survivors include her children, Eugene & Linda Ritter of Poteau, OK, Charles & Vickie Ritter of Bentonville, AR, Michael & Stephanie Ritter of Centerton, AR;  grandchildren, Chris Ritter of Mustang, OK, Vicky Ramirez of Heavener, OK, Mark Ritter of  Bentonville, AR, Cynthia Lopez of Grove, OK, Serena Jones & Madison Ritter of Centerton, AR; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Eula Faye Baker, Joyce Smith, Marie Baker;  one brother, Franklin Morrison; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 10 am, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Jim Cook officiating.  Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery, Monroe, OK. 

Imogene Vise


Imogene Vise, 88, of Spiro, OK passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Imogene was born May 13, 1931 in Shady Point,  OK to Virgil & Ester (Ford) Flanary.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harrell Vise; sisters, Juanita Salsman, Bonita Walters, Lydia Sexton and Lottie Clark; brothers, Jack, Charlie & Dave Flanary.

Survivors include her children, Lynda Vise, Kenneth Vise & wife Marilyn, Carolyn Bentley & husband Danny, Terry Vise & wife Sharon; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; sister, Dorothea Wade; brothers, Bill & Sam Flanary; other realtives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Saturday,  February 1, 2020 at Lakeview Baptist Church, Spiro, OK with Greg Stuckey & Keith Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.  The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

CLIFFORD MASSEY


Clifford Massey was born on August 7, 1944 to Walter & Helen (Jones) Massey in Cedars, Oklahoma.
          He received his education in Cedars.  Clifford was employed and retired from Toyota Dealership in Kansas City, MO.  He enjoyed life; fishing and working on cars was his pastime. Clifford is preceded in death by his mother and father; one stepdaughter, Yolanda Nolen; two brothers, Sherl and Verl Massey and two sisters, Kathleen Clayton and Lorene Brown.
          Clifford leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, LaVonne Massey of the home; two daughters, Loquitta (Jerod) Ellis of Columbia, MO, Janet (Kenneth) Rovaris of Wichita, KS; three brothers, Epluribus (Katherine) Massey of Spiro, OK, Lee (Jean) Massey of Moffett, OK, Sylvester Massey of Oklahoma City, OK; four sisters, Pearl McKinney and Freda Bishop of Fort Smith, AR; Celia (Johnny) Washington of Texarkana, TX, Reba Massey of Oklahoma City, OK; Nine grandkids; four great grandkids; one uncle, Mathon (Marilyn) Jones of Kansas City, MO; four sisters in law, Joyce Hughes of Grandview, MO, Loraine Nolan of Chicago, IL, Dolores Frazier of Mesquite, TX, Sabrina Nolan of Las Vegas, NV and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
