James Jackson

Memorial Service for James Jackson, will be at 2pm on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Service under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

After a courageous 11 year battle with cancer, retired master sergeant James Jackson of Oklahoma City, completed his earthly assignment on October 5th 2022. James, AKA pops was a faithful servant to god, his country and community, he first enlisted in the United States Air force on October 1970, after 20 years of dedicated service he retired on November 1st 1990, for several years he enjoyed spending time traveling and taking it easy. on August 9th 1999 James was hired at Oconne County Sheriff's office in Watkinsville Georgia where he served as a lieutenant and jail administrator, he remained at this post until retiring on may 1st 2013. James' parents were the late Billy Ray Jackson and Mildred Lucille Cagle. He was proceeded in death by his Sister Gwenda Nichols of Tulsa Oklahoma. James is survived by his children Brian Jackson of Midwest city Oklahoma and daughter Kathy Cochrane of Norman Oklahoma. Daughter in law Jerri Lynn Jackson, son in law Jim Cochrane. Grand children James Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Hannah Cochrane and Ethan Cochrane. also survived by his 2 brothers John Jackson and Billy Jackson, and a abundance of nieces and nephews, and very dearest friend Missy Cobb and his best furry friend Abe.

Patricia Duncan-Lynch

Funeral Service for Patricia Duncan-Lynch, 90 of Pocola, Oklahoma will be at 2pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Maxey Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Patricia was born on December 9, 1931 in Wister, Oklahoma to Dollie (Wilson) Baldwin and Bob Baldwin and passed away on November 1, 2022 in Pocola, Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by her husband A.R. Duncan Jr.; husband Glenn Lynch; son, Bobby Duncan; brothers, Richard Baldwin, Pheland Baldwin, Irre Baldwin; sister, Lucille Jensen.

Survivors include: sons, Gary and Sabrina Duncan, Ronny and Gayle Duncan; step-son, Bruce Lynch; step-daughter, Lucretia Mcgahey; grandchildren, Chris and Kristi Duncan, Derck Duncan, Darby Duncan, Daylon and Briley Duncan; great grandchildren, Christian Duncan, Cameron Duncan, Axel Duncan, Journey Duncan, Henley Duncan, and Kruz Nixon; numerous other relatives and loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Derck Duncan, Daylon Duncan, Christian Duncan, and Cameron Duncan.

 Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8pm.
