Anna Belle Young

 

Anna Belle Young, 80, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 surrounded by her family and friends.  Anna Belle was born July 27, 1941 in Arkoma, OK to Perry & Arizona (Burrell) Jameson.  She was a past Assistant Vice President at First National Bank of Ft. Smith, AR.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Poteau; enjoyed attending Women of Faith and helping with Vacation Bible School.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Young; daughter, Joyce Shackelford; sister, Jewell Duhon & husband Billy; brothers in law, Harold Young & wife June, and Bernard Young.

 She is survived by her daughters & their husbands, Tami Holt & Robert, Joann Batt & Shawn; grandchildren, Kyle, Bryce, Jameson, Wyatt, Ryker, Nakiyah and Charlee; great grandson, Cashton; son in law, Jeff Shackelford; sisters, LaNelle Stiles and husband Gene, Mary Schuster & husband Bill; sister in law, Karen Young; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

 Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Poteau with Rev. Jim Perkin officiating with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ft. Smith, AR.  Pallbearers will be Kyle Holt, Bryce Holt, Jameson Shackelford, Wyatt Holt, Ryker Holt, Adam Schuster & Ted Stiles.

 The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Jeremy Grant Monroe McKinney

Jeremy Grant Monroe McKinney, 42, of Spiro, OK passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Jeremy was born April 3, 1979 in Ft. Smith, AR to David & Karren (Permenter) McKinney.  Jeremy worked in construction.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brian McKinney; and son, Zachary McKinney.

 Survivors include his sister, Mary McKinney; brothers, David & Raymond; children, Tyson Steen, Byison, Destiney & Chaney McKinney; granddaughter, Kinley Steen;  special friend, Kaye Ivey; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Memorial services will be 10 am, Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Calvary Southern Baptist Church, Spiro with Eddie Blankenship officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Rouell, Jamel Clayton

Nancy Ann (Brown) Wade

 

Nancy Ann (Brown) Wade, 71, of Sapulpa, Ok took her first walk with our Lord and Savior on Monday, July 26, 2021.  Nancy was born in Poteau, Ok to Guy T. Brown and Ida Porter.  She retired from Bama in 2017 and enjoyed every minute of it with the love of her life, Darrell.  Nancy was a kind, loving, giving, and compassionate wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She absolutely never met a stranger and had a very contagious laugh. She loved to spread cheer and sunshine wherever she went. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy T. and Ida Brown, and siblings Juanita Peters, Wanda Austin, Anna Lucille Creamer, James Brown, Ida Marie Reed, and Guy L. (Buddy) Brown, and grandson Parker Wade.

She is survived by her sister Mary Powledge, husband Darrell Wade, daughters and son-in-laws, Gina and Mike Mason, Christi and Dennis Rohrer, Crystal and Shane McKenzie, sons and daughters-in-law, Josh and Kimberly Wade, Jason and Kindra Wade; Grandchildren, Tiffany Mayes, Andrew Marowski, Darby Rohrer, Cassie Rohrer, Haven McKenzie, Evan Wade, Flora Wade, Oland Wade; great-grandchildren, Schyler Jones, Dandie Marowski, Sadie Belle Marowski, Shiloh Marowski, and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, loved ones and many cherished friends. 

Memorial Services will be held on August 5, 2021 at View Acres Baptist Church, 2327 S 65th West Avenue, Tulsa, Ok 74107 at 10:30am.
