Goldie Irene Fowler, 80, of Shady Point, OK passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 in Ft. Smith, AR. Goldie was born August 26, 1941 to Marvin & Lillie (Lovell) Weaver. She was a financial manager. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Fowler Jr.; brothers, Melford & Clifton Weaver.
Survivors include her children, James & RaeNita Fowler; grandchildren, Wes & Sabrina Fowler, Julio & Courtney Valdez, Cesar & Raychel Valdez; great grandchildren, KayLynn Fowler, Cesar Valdez Jr, Rosa, J.C. & Adriel Valdez; brothers, Clifford Weaver, Alford & Mary Weaver; sister, Joyce Smith; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Friday, January 7, 2022 at Shady Point Cemetery Pavilion, with Jerry Williams officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark & Tim Shipman, Steve Hembree, Julio & Cesar Valdez, Wes Weaver. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Weaver, Tony Drury, Barry Williams and Ryan Leatherwood.
