Lynn Edward Lockhart


Lynn Edward Lockhart, 84, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Lynn was born January 8, 1936 in Zoe, OK to Albert & Anna (Metcalf) Lockhart.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force, where he served as a communications engineer.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings, Geraldine McGee, Grady, Travis & Loren Lockhart, Patsy Gibson.



Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Anita (Wynn) Lockhart; children, Michael Edward Lockhart & wife Pamela, Mark Allen Lockhart & Tamara Mae Lockhart; grandchildren, Michael Gabriel Lockhart, Melissa Hinson, Marvin Ray Trout, Jr., Danielle Lockhart, Tyler Lockhart & wife Merritt Boyce, Arielle Bailey, Edward Lockhart, Anita Lynette Lockhart; great grandchildren, Gabriella Lockhart, Gavin Lockhart, Dominic Bailey, Olan Lockhart, Ember Lockhart, Wayne Jr. Hinson; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 10 am, Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church, Poteau with Leroy Billy & Roger Mattox officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakland  Cemetery, Poteau, OK.  Pallbearers will be Gary & David Gibson, Gary Hall, Rick Hall,  Russ & Bart Seymore.  The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.


Mary Ann Cummings


Mary Ann Cummings, 85, of Shady Point, OK passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 in Shady Point.  Mary Ann was born December 5, 1934 in Kansas to Loyal & Irene (Gipson) Davis.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John V. Cummings Jr., 3 sisters, 1 brother, 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter.



Survivors include her daughters & sons in law, Christina & Larry Hill of Bixby, OK, Sabrina & Marc Jones of Broken Arrow, OK, Edna & Will Stacy of Shady Point, OK; son  & daughter in law, John & Lorrie Cummings of Spiro, OK; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Barbara Anderson; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Memorial services will be 10 am, Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Murry Spur Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. C.L. Thomas officiating.

Jason Luke Honeycutt


         Jason Luke Honeycutt, infant son of John Honeycutt & Deedra Darneal, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 in Sallisaw, OK.  Jason was born June 2, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK.
          He is survived by his parents; brother, John Honeycutt III; sisters, Kaytee Honeycutt & Zaylee Darneal; paternal grandparents, John Honeycutt & Dan Scroggs; maternal grandparents, Jason & Marilyn Smith; great grandparents, Beverly Smith & Joan Hurst; numerous aunts, uncles; other relatives & loved ones.
          Graveside services will be 10 am, Monday, August 31, 2020 at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.  The family will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Charles "Roughneck" Pierce


Charles Robert “Roughneck” Pierce, 85, of Panama, OK passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in Pocola.  Roughneck was born September 10, 1934 in Panama, OK to Luther & Myrtle (Gollihare) Pierce.  He was a US Navy veteran and a teacher.  He was a lifetime resident of Panama, loved Panama Razorbacks and OU football.  One of his favorite pastimes was drinking coffee in the mornings with his buddies.  He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy; son, Ronnie; grandson, Allan; 3 sisters & a brother.



Survivors include his children, Sherry Bishop & Brian, Randy Pierce & Zandra; grandchildren, Dalton Pierce, Brianna Suggs, Kyle Dart, Randall Pierce, Jessica Daugherty,  Cari Hokett, Marisa Bishop, Robbie Hamilton, Kristie Lovejoy; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Jimmy Dale Pierce & Shirley; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
