Heath Allen Stallings



Heath Allen Stallings, 50, of Greenwood, AR passed away  Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK.  Heath was born September 30, 1967 in Gallup, NM to James Vyron & Glenda Sue (Hicks) Stallings.  Heath grew up in New Mexico until his family moved to Heavener, OK area when he was 10.  Heath was a 25 year veteran of Law Enforcement in the State of Oklahoma.  He was also a police instructor and very passionate about the training and safety of all his police officers.  Heath's interests were in aeronautics, history, music, reading his Bible, marksmanship, and law enforcement.  Heath was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was extremely proud to be a papa!  Even though his physical heart failed him, his true heart showed through the love he had for his family and friends.  Heath was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Carl & Opal Hicks, Vyron "Slim" Stallings; great grandparents, Dollie Evans, Dave & Mary Hicks.



He is survived by his wife, Teresa "Terry" Ann (Tucker) Stallings of the home; son, Joshua Stallings & wife Sarah of Coweta, OK; daughter, Michaela Anderson & husband Brad of Tulsa, OK; step daughters, Ashley Baxter & husband Bradley of Muldrow, OK, Alexandria Thompson of Greenwood, AR; step son Clinton Thompson of Greenwood, AR; grandsons, Xane Staats, Reiyen Henderson, Lewke Stallings, Collin Baxter; granddaughters, Hannah Mae Anderson, Aubrielle Sage Baxter; his mother, Glenda Sue Stallings; brothers, Jimmy Stallings & wife Lynn, David Stallings & wife Rhetta; sister, Debbie Cook & husband Mark; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Greenwood, AR with Rev. Ronnie Deal.  Interment will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Monroe, OK. Pallbearers will be Chief-Randy Liles, Officer-Dewayne Goad, Don Nelms, Sgt. Brent Young, Sgt. Rob Rogers, Mike Cornsilk, Chief-Patti Buhl-NSU, Capt-James Bell. 


The family will be at the funeral home in Poteau on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Curtiss McIntyre



Curtiss W. McIntyre, 55, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Poteau.  Curtiss was born July 9, 1962 in Talihina, OK to Truman Phillip & Carol Yvonne (Tedrick) McIntyre.  He worked in the oil field.  Curtiss was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his sons, Austin McIntyre & Michael McIntyre; stepsons, Chris & Matthew; his mother Carol Upchurch; step grandchildren, Avery & Wyatt; brother , "TJ" Truman P. McIntyre; siser, Tammy Lynn; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Karren Permenter



Karren Ann Joyce Permenter, 66, of Spiro, OK passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Karren was born January 7, 1952 in Spiro, OK to Monroe & Ruth (Barnes) Permenter.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Billie Leon & one sister, Hellen.



Survivors include her daughter, Mary McKinney of Ft. Smith, AR; sons, David McKinney of Ft. Smith, AR, Raymond McKinney of Spiro, OK, Brian McKinney & Jeremy McKinney of Spiro, OK; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother Elverett & Debbie Permenter of Spiro, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 11 am, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 graveside at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK with Rev. Eddie Blankenship officiating.  Interment will follow.

Mildred Pearl Goins



Mildred Pearl Goins, 95, of Spiro, OK went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 26, 2018.  Mildred was born November 29, 1922  to Joda & Ethel (Williams) Lee.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Leon;  grandchild, John Robert Dix; sister, Reba McKown; and brother, Billy Joe Lee.



Survivors include her sons & daughters in law, Bobby Dale & Wanda Conrad, Acie Joe & Debbie Conrad; daughters & sons in law, Sharon & Wayne Smith, Brenda & John Dix all of Spiro, OK; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 10 am, Monday, January 29, 2018 at Murry Spur Free Will Baptist Church, Spiro, OK with Rev. C.L. Thomas and Buddy Brown officiating.  Interment will be at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons.  Honorary pallbearers will be Zeke Burns & Manuel Swift.

             Mildred will be in state at Evans & Miller in Pocola from 9am - 5 pm Saturday and Noon to 5 pm on Sunday - no scheduled family visitation will be held

Sandra J. Castor



Sandra Jean Castor, 82, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018, in Ft. Smith, AR.  Sandra was born May 27, 1935, in Trenton, MO to Jesse & Elva M. (Ziegler) Endicott.  She worked in accounting.  Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Lindall Lee Castor, July 7, 2012.    She is survived by daughters, Cecelia Pilgrim & Melinda Fisk; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
