James Lee Shackelford, 54, of Cameron, OK passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home. James was born September 13, 1967 in Waldron, AR to James E. & Winonah (Simmons) Shackelford. He was a veteran of the US Navy. James was preceded in death by his stepmother, Darlene Shackelford.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie; sons, Chris & Dylan Shackelford; daughters, Jessica Shackelford and Jeanisa Real; brothers & sisters in law, Cody & Melissa Shackelford, Alan & Amanda Hale, Clay & Tracey Shackelford; sisters & brothers in law, Michelle & Karl Julstead, Lynn & Robert Perryman; his father, James; and mother, Winonah Hale; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Scott Martin & Steve Dryer officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron. Pallbearers will be Eric Hill, Karl Julstead, Jimmy Smith, Max Harris, Scott Martin and Steve Dryer. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Deepest Sympathies to the Shackelford Family. I worked with James in the Procurement department at Gerdau (Macsteel) and I remember what a kind gentleman he always was.
