Marisa Faye Farmer, 24, of Arkoma, OK passed away
Monday, October 7, 2013, in Ft. Smith,
AR. Marisa was born September 29, 1989, in Ft. Smith
to Mark & Teresa (Finchum) King. She
was office manager at Eastern Oklahoma Fabrication and also worked as
dispatcher for Arkoma PD. Marisa was
preceded in death by her grandfathers, Everett Finchum & Mitchell King;
great grandparents, Minnie Williams & Clarence Williams.
Survivors include her
husband, John of the home; mother & stepfather, Teresa & James Call of
Rock Island, OK; father & stepmother, Mark & Donna King of Cameron, OK;
2 sisters, Whitney Call and Danielle McCormick of Cameron, OK; 4 brothers, Josh
Call, Tyler Irvin, Roy King, Chris Call; father in law & mother in law,
James Leo & Shiree Farmer; brother in law, James Benjamin Farmer &
wife, Carrie; sister in law, Dessie Farmer, all of Sallisaw; grandmothers,
Bonnie Finchum, Barbara King, Pat Call, Irene Loftis; grandfathers, Roger
Loftis and Carl Call; uncle & aunt, Ray & Amy Finchum; other relatives
& loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm
Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Rock Island Community Free Will Baptist Church, Rock Island, OK
with Revs. Steve Rutherford, Thomas Lenard & Brad Kuhl officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery,
Cameron, OK. Pallbearers will be Brad Roberts, Riley
Brooks, Jimmy John Williams, Dexter Jones, Randy Duncan, & Tommy McGrew. Honorary pallbearers will be the Arkoma
Police Dept.
The family will be at the
funeral home in Poteau on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
There is open visitation from 8 am to 8 pm daily. Evans & Miller Poteau location
