Charles Ronald Wiedemann



Charles Ronald Wiedemann, 51, of  Poteau, OK passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 in Fort Smith, AR.  Charles was born  June 10, 1964 in Stigler, OK to Charles Henry  & Betty Ruth (Moore)Wiedemann.  He was a loving husband, father & grandfather.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Perry & Aunt, Charlotte Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Heather of the home; 2 daughters, Ashlee Bourne of Keota, OK, Amber Wiedemann of the home; 5 grandchildren, Brooklyn, Joey, Jasper, Andrea and Erica; sisters, Betty Sue Owens of Iola, KS, Kim Romig of Lone Elm, KS; brothers, Michael Perry of Keota, OK, Paul Wiedemann of Tulsa, OK, Mark Wiedemann of Stigler, OK, Lindsey Perry of Keota, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Monday, October 5, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK, with Rev. Lynn Bullard officiating.  Interment will follow in Keota Cemetery, Keota, OK.  Pallbearers will be Paul Wiedemann, Lindsey Perry, Kevin Jackson, Kyle Jackson, Shane Wiedemann, Mark Wiedemann, Markus Wiedemann & Joe Trammell. 

Jerry "Mike" Wyatt



"Mike"  Jerry Michael Wyatt, 61, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Poteau, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2015.  Mike was a 1972 graduate of Poteau High School.  He was an Eagle Scout and in later years a scout leader.  Mike was a dentist in Oklahoma City.   He is preceded in death by his parents, VE & Rilla Wyatt.

Survivors include his children, Paige & Matthew; sisters, Judy Ann Wyatt Trickey & Wanda Sue Wyatt; brothers, Leon & Ike Winston Wyatt; special cousin, Connie Stiver & J.P.; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives , loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Friday October 2, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Poteau , OK.  Burial will be at LeFlore, OK.

Joy Baker



Laurna Joyce "Joy" Baker, 66, of Bokoshe, OK passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Joy was born December 17, 1948 in Poteau, OK to Virgil & Mary (Williams) Bledsoe.  She was a homemaker.  Joy attended church at Dog Creek & Latham . She was preceded in death by her brother, Virgil Stephen Bledsoe.



Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; daughter, Joanie Lynnette Johnson of Bokoshe, OK; son, Christopher Lawrence Dietrich of Bokoshe, OK; 5 grandchildren, Jessica & Greg Jackson, Kalea & Michael Wilson, Brooke & Tim Wallace, Coby Johnson and Kelsey Dietrich; great grandchildren, Lexton, Payton & Ryley; parents, Virgil Bledsoe of Calhoun, OK, Mary French of Colcord, OK; sisters, Gayle Guinn of Calhoun, OK, Jeannie Mouse of Colcord, OK; brothers, Kent Bledsoe of Calhoun, OK, Johnny French of Siloam Springs, AR; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 2 pm, Friday, October 2, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Elmer Bowden officiating.  Interment will follow in Shady Point Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Coby Johnson, Cliff Baker, Neal Murray, Colton Bledsoe, Greg Jackson & Chris Dietrich.



The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Steve Thompson



Steven Bradley Thompson, 55, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Poteau.  Steve was born June 29, 1960 in Bellflower, CA to Phillip Don & Beverly (Newell) Thompson.  He worked at Rheem.  Steve attended the First Assembly of God Church in Poteau.     He loved his family and his grandkids.  He took care of his Dad for the past three  years.    He was preceded in death by his  mother, Ellen Thompson; brother, Gary Clay Thompson; sister, Lisa Sue Thompson; maternal grandmother, Ruby Stewart; paternal grandparents, Truman & Pauline Thompson.



Survivors include his wife, Vickie Lynn Thompson of the home; sons, Bradley Don & Brittney Thompson, Dustin Kyle & Amber Thompson; grandchildren,  Mackenzie Nichole, Skyler Grace, Kaydence Ryan, Bentley Knox, Beck Nolan; father, Phillip Don Thompson; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 10 am, Thursday, October 1, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church, Poteau with Rev. Keith Williams officiating.  Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Billy Hickman, Glendon Williams, Gene Williams, Jamie Armstrong, Jeff Callaway and Billy Hartman.



The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Joyce Ann Burnett



 Joyce Ann Burnett, 69, of Wister, OK passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 in Wister.  Joyce was born July 17, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK to Lloyd Oather & Ollie Leona (Camden) Alexander.  She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Trenton; sisters, Jackie Marrow, Jane Nichols; brothers, Orlen Ray, Dennis Wayne and Lyman "Butch" Alexander.



Survivors include her husband, Wayne of the home; 2 daughters, Jenette & Jerome Poland of Van Buren, AR, Candy Silva of the home;  5 sons, Ray Dale & Sara Jones of Phoenix, AZ, Dusty Jones of Hot Springs, AR, James Burnett of  Wellton, AZ, "C.W." Curtis & Kim Burnett of Howe, OK, Wayne & Melissa Burnett of Talihina, OK; 21 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren; brother, Daniel Alexander of McAlester, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 3 pm, Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Ellis Chapel Church in Wister, OK.  Interment will follow.  Pallbearers will be C.W., Jeff, Ray Dale, Josh, Britten, James & Chris.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon & Cody.
