Everett W. Wheat Jr., 83,
of LeFlore, OK passed away Saturday,
September 12, 2015 at his home in Summerfield, OK. Everett
was born October 16, 1931 in LeFlore, OK
to Everett Sr. & Goldie (Evans) Wheat.
He was a retired correction officer.
Everett was a member of Summerfield Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; son,
Greg Wheat; sister, Louise Booth; brother, Vic Wheat.
Survivors include his wife
Johnnie of the home; daughter & son
in law, Gaye & Kevin Smith of Springdale, AR; 3 sons & daughters
in law, Douglas & Lori Wheat of Marion, LA, Ronnie & Robin Wheat of
Springdale, AR, Joey & Patty Wheat of Summerfield, OK; 13 grandchildren; 18
great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Gwendolyn Hamilton and Donna Hass of Ocala, FL;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Summerfield Church of Christ, Summerfield, OK
with Tracy Lloyd officiating. Interment
will follow in Summerfield Cemetery.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
