Kay Robinson, 59, of
Jacksonville, FL (Wister, OK) passed away
September 7, 2015 in Jacksonville.
Kay was born June 13, 1956 in Atlanta, GA to Grady & Gloria Ann
(Scott) Harrell. She was an elementary
teacher. She dedicated her life for 33
years to Christian Education. She loved
talking about the Lord and spending time with Him, reading and caring for
animals. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother,
Andy Harrell; sister, Penny Fleming; and father in law, Ted F. Robinson.
Survivors include her
husband, Lester F. Robinson of Wister, OK/Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Steve
Harrell & Bryan Harrell of Jacksonville; sister, Susanne Jenkins of
Atlanta, GA; mother in law, Natha Dean Robinson of Wister, OK; numerous other
relatives, loved loves; a host of beloved friends.
The University Baptist
Church, where she taught, in Jacksonville, FL had a memorial service for her on
Thursday, Sept. 10th. Many of her former
students were there to honor her.
Services will be 2 pm,
Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Poteau Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Jim
Parsley officiating. Interment will
follow in Monroe Cemetery, Monroe, OK.
