Ola Ethelene Covey, 79, of Shady Point, OK
passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in Shady Point. Ethelene was born September 24, 1934 in Panama, OK
to Otto & Ola Mae (Sherfield) Goins.
She was a homemaker. She was
preceded in death by her parents, son, Donald Wayne Covey, sisters &
brother, Orville, Levenia, Pauline and Linda.
Survivors include her
husband, Charley Covey Sr. of the home; sons & daughters in law, Charley
& Shelia Covey of Shady Point, OK, Dennis & Lisa Covey of Panama, OK,
Robert & Lisa Covey of Wellston, OK; daughters & sons in law, Deborah
& Dennis Jeffrey of Yale, OK, Janice & Rickey Barcheers of Panama, OK,
Diane Hale of Shady Point, OK, Charolette & Willie Knight of Shady Point,
OK; grandchildren, Trinity & Sue covey, Toni & Mark Jones, Amanda &
Evan Foster, Melissa & Scott Stephan, Molly & Jason Updegraff, Dennis
Jr. & Carrie Covey, Clint Covey, April Covey, Abbi Covey, Ricky Barcheers,
Jason Brewster, Brandy & Wade Morrow, Katrina & Jason Morris, Chelsey
Hale, Kasey Covey, Donny-Reba Knight; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Lola
Seaton of Spiro, Evelyn Hanna of Cameron, Sue Hensley of Bokoshe; brothers,

Services will be 10 am,
Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment
will follow in Shady Point Cemetery,
Shady Point, OK.
Pallbearers will be Trinity Covey, Dennis Covey, Rickey Barcheers, Clint
Covey, Jason Morris, Wade Morrow, Dylan Covey, Philip Jones, and Braden Foster.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
