Velta Ruth Pipkins, 78, of Pocola, OK passed away

Smith, AR. Velta was born September 30, 1934 in Mulberry, AR to Clyde & Letha (Jordan)
Drummond. She was a furniture refurbisher for many years and
then worked for Welker Macine Shop. Velta was preceded in death by her father;
daughter, Linda Partlow Wilkins and great grandson, Noah Holsted.
Survivors include her husband, Tom
of the home; 2 daughters & son in law, Joyce Atwell, Marsha & Wilson
Tucker of Pocola, OK; son & daughter in law, Tim & Judy Pipkins of
Stigler, OK; 9 grandchildren, Darrell Jr. & Rachel Wilkins, Andrew Atwell,
Amber & Toby Holstead, Aaron Atwell, Ashley Tucker, Brandie & Daniel
Sosa, Brad & Kayla Pipkins, Bailey Pipkins, Brooke, Pipkins; 2 great
grandchildren, Chloe Wilkins, Blake Holsted; mother, Letha Drummond of Pocola,
OK; brother & sister in law, Wayne & Anna Drummond of Florida; 3
nieces, ; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 1 pm, Wednesday,
December 12, 2012 at Evans Memorial Chapel, Pocola with Rev. James Ogden
officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Pocola. Pallbearers will be Gerald, Aaron, Dave,
& Brad Pipkins, Darrell Wilkins, Andrew and Aaron Atwell.
The family will be at the funeral
home in Pocola from 6-8 pm, Tuesday evening to visit with relatives &
friends.
