Richard Allen Hawthorne, 76, of Shady
Point, OK passed away December 22, 2012 in Shady Point. Richard was born December 29, 1935 in Jenny
Lind, AR to Richard W. & Grace Reynolds (Myers) Hawthorne. He was retired from the US Navy. Richard was a member of the First Step of
Faith Church in Poteau, OK.
Survivors include his wife, Jacletia of
the home; daughter, Karen Hawthorne of the home; sons, Rick Hawthorne of Paris,
TX and Willie Hawthorne of Dixon, CA; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren;
sister, Doris Clifton and brother, Donald Hawthorne of Shady Point, OK; other
relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Memorial Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at First Step of Faith Church, Poteau with Rev. Troy Glenn officiating.
