Meredith A. Heavener, 70, of Cameron, OK passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 in Cameron. Meredith was born in Liberty Hill, OK on January 9, 1941 to Jay H. & Cecil L. (Pierce) Branstetter. She was a secretary. Meredith was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Heavener of the home; mother, Cecil L. Branstetter of Poteau, OK; sister, Sherry Branstetter of Poteau, OK; 1 stepson & daughter in law, Tommy & Lisa Heavener of The Colony, TX; 2 step daughters & son in law, Christie & James Miles of Gunbarrell, TX, Jackie Sue Heavener of The Colony, TX; 6 grandsons, 3 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services will be 10 am, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Slatonville Cemetery, Slatonville, OK. Pallbearers will be Wesley Pickle, David Pickle, Danny Taylor, Roger Goforth, Mark Branstetter & James Williams.
