Iona C. Morse, 87, of Wister, OK passed away in her home, after a short battle with cancer, Friday, January 28, 2011 in Wister. Mrs. Morse was born April 11, 1933 in Alberta, Canada to John & Irene (Gray) Lewis. She was married to Thomas C. Morse October 28, 1939 in Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Tommy Jr., her parents; sisters, Opal Clyde, Vera Young, Stella Kallas; Ester Morse, Blanch Lewis & 2 brothers, Joy Lewis & Teddy Lewis. Survivors include her daughters, Leona Sherry of Wister, OK, Beverly Carrier of California & Mary Biggs of Oregon; one son, Ernest Morse of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. There will be a private family service.
