Geneva Ellen (Brasuell) Hopkins

Geneva Ellen (Brasuell) Hopkins, 71, of Fort Smith, AR passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in Fort Smith. Geneva was born in Uniontown, AR on December 13, 1938 to George & Dissie (Bryant) Brasuell. She was a retired cook from the Spiro Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Hopkins; her parents; sister, Margret Small; brother, William Brasuell; granddaughters, Ashley Henderson & Brook Lynch. Survivors include 3 daughters & sons in law, Debi & Scott Ketten of Ft. Smith, AR, Valarie & Tim Rice of Spiro, OK, Patricia Hopkins of Poteau, OK; 5 stepsons & daughters in law, Don & Christine Hopkins, Jerry & Kay Hopkins, Randy Hopkins, & Bruce Hopkins, all of Shady Point, OK, Rick & Onicka Hopkins of Hot Springs, AR; 2 brothers & sisters in law, Melvin & Barbara Brasuell of Van Buren, AR, John & Nalene Brasuell of Rockfort,TX; 4 sisters & brothers in law, Janie Howard of Greenwood, AR, Shirley & John Shelly of Van-Alma, AR, Judy & Eulas Bowles of Winslow, AR Pachilla & Kim Thompson of Ft. Smith, AR; 11 Grandchildren, Brandon Eubanks, Douglas Eubanks, Devin Henderson, Randy Graham, Jessyka Graham, Daniel Rice, Clifford Lynch, Christian Lynch, John Hopkins, Jerry Hopkins, Makalia Hopkins; 7 Great Grandchildren, Renee Eubanks, Kighleeh Eubanks, Dakota Eubanks, Kaden Eubanks, Khloie Graham, Bella Graham, & Connor Graham; companion, Wendell Harris of Spiro,OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services will be held 11 am, Monday, October 11, 2010 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola, OK with Rev. Freeman Shell officiating. Interment will follow in White Bluff Cemetery, Bonanza, AR. Pallbearers will be Brandon Eubanks, Doug Eubanks, Devin Henderson, Randy Graham, Scott Ketten & Tim Rice.
