Gerald Keith Aaron, 82,of
Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Poteau. Gerald was born August 6, 1935 in Ashdown, AR to John Thomas &
Nettie Ella (Simpson) Aaron. He was
retired from Weyerhaeuser Company. He was a US Navy aircraft mechanic. He was
an outdoorsman who loved fishing. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife,
Mary Lee Elizabeth (Curran) Aaron of the home; children, Gerald & Susan
Aaron of Eufaula, OK, Twala & David Womack of Sierra Vista, AZ, Maurica
& Dean Anderson of Poteau, OK, John & Tony Aaron-Enriquez of Tulsa, OK;
grandchildren, Justin & Cece Womack, Keith Womack, Erin Joy Leigh Womack, Benjamin Anderson, Joshua Anderson; great
grandchildren, David, Yuna, Crystal and Sonya; brother, John B. Aaron of Broken
Bow, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Monday, December 18, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Poteau, OK with Rev. Gentry
Hill & Phil McGehee officiating.
Interment will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Little River County, AR.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
