Barbara Jean Matthews,80,
of Wister, OK passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Heavener, OK. Barbara
was born June 19, 1937 in Sunset, AR to Claude Edward & Dollie (Shepherd)
Malone. She was a waitress. She was preceded in death by her parents;
husband of 37 years, Rayford Matthews;
daughter, Michelle; son, David; grandson, Nicholas Newman; 1 sister & 1 brother.
Survivors include her
daughter Karen & Mark Newman of Wister, OK; 3 sons, James & Mandy
Matthews of Sacramento, CA, Timothy Matthews of Wister, OK & Kenneth
Matthews of Riverbank, CA; 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Memorial services will be
held 1 pm, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Heavener Church of the Nazarene (300
East Ave. B) with Bros. John Turner & Allen Malone officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Lakewood
Memorial Park in Clinton, MS with Bishop Dwayne Eady officiating.
