Bobby Earl Crouch



     Bobby Earl Crouch, 82, of Poteau, OK formally of Heavener, OK passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Bob was born in Monroe, OK on July 31, 1934 to Boss & Alice Crouch.  He served in the US Navy; served in law enforcement as a County Deputy and Chief of Police and was a truck driver.  Bob was a member of the Poteau Church of Christ.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Marceil Stevens, Prentice Crouch, Lily May Terry, Buddy Crouch, Marveil Smith, Betty Crouch, Myra Hester & Martha Brannon.

          He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Bain Crouch of the home; daughter, Beverly Crouch Thomas and husband Mike of Poteau; sons, Steve Crouch of Choctaw, Paul & wife Janet Crouch of Newalla, Chris & wife Glenda Crouch of Conser, Mark & wife Janet Crouch of Bixby; 10 grandchildren, Doug Thomas, Matt Thomas, Kim Thomas White, Jacob Crouch, Amber Crouch Long, Molly Crouch, Sarah Crouch Kriwanek, Alison Crouch West, Emily Crouch Earls, Christy Crouch; 18 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anetia Livesay and Mary Holderfield of  Ft. Smith, AR along with numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

          There will be a family visitation Wednesday January 18 at Noon at the home of Bob & Shirley Crouch.

        Funeral service will be at the Poteau Church of Christ at 2 pm, Wednesday, January 18 with burial at Monroe Cemetery, Monroe, OK.  Pallbearers will be Steve, Paul, Chris & Mark Crouch, Mike Thomas, Douglas Thomas, Matthew Thomas.
