Glenda Christene Swearengin, 60,
of Poteau, OK
passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 in Ft.
Smith, AR. Glenda was born July 30, 1954 in Sapulpa, OK
to Lawrence Edward & Ethel Christene (Hays) Daniels. She worked as Human Resource Manager at Tyson
Foods for 29 years. She was church
pianist at the Gospel Tabernacle for 53 years.
Glenda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Theodore & Ermal
Hays.
She is survived by her husband,
Pat of the home; son, Randal Dunn & wife Britney of Poteau, OK; 3
grandchildren, Gracie, Emily & Zoey Dunn; parents, Sonny & Christene
Daniels; sister, Carolyn Billy & husband, Calvin; brother, Carl Daniels
& wife Sheryl. She also leaves
behind several special nieces & nephews; uncles, aunts and cousins; her Gospel Tabernacle
Church family; a host of
family, friends & co-workers.
Services will be 10 am, Wednesday,
November 26, 2014 at the Gospel Tabernacle, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jackie Hayes and Bobby Main officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau, OK. Pallbearers will be Bob, Charles, and Rookie
Hayes, Aaron Daniels, Jason McMurray, David Vineyard, J.R. Collins, Jose’
Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be
Jeff Gibson, Logan Hayes and David Dennis.
The family will be at the funeral
home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
