Franklin Moore “Stubs” Berry, 85, of Poteau, OK passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in Oklahoma Veterans
Center in Talihina, OK. Frank was born December 19, 1928 in Michigan, the son of the late Mark O. & Alta (Moore) Berry. Frank served in the US Air Force and was
stationed in Roswell, NM.
He was a retired carpenter, a member of Eagles in Spiro, OK. He loved racing and riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his parents;
brother, Jim Berry; sisters, Frances Root, Mabel Vanorman, Evelyn Parker &
Helen Manning all of Michigan; grandson, Ian Berry of Maryland; son in law,
Jackie Dyer.
He is survived by son,
Edward K. Berry & wife Patricia of Maryland; daughters, Deborah G. Shetter
& husband Randy, Pamela K. Dyer, Teresa E. Bratcher & husband Randy all
of Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Fern (Burkett) Starr, Carol Ann Newberry, & Kathy
Anderson all of Michigan; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; numerous
nieces, nephews, loved ones & friends.
Memorial services will be
held at 2 pm, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.
