Survivors include his daughters, Sharon Lappert & Sandra Hamby of Santa Anna, CA, Anita Maez of Long Beach, CA; son, Dennis Wayne Hamby of Reno, NV; grandchildren, Katrina Hamby and Aaron Maez; stepsons Ron Pompili of Poteau, OK and Larry Williguis of Akron, OH; niece Iva Lou & Dave of Perry, OK.
Memorial services will be held 2 pm Monday, June 9, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.

We love you dad and will miss you. You had a long good life and you are at peace now. Wayne also has 2 grandchildren not mentioned. My Daughter Katrina Hamby and Anita's son Aaron Maez. Thank you Rob and Ron for all of your support and assistance since Dad has been ill. Thank you Ron and Rob for being there for him. You are good friends and family
