Leslie Adkins, 58, of Poteau, OK
passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 in
Poteau. Leslie was born February 6, 1955
in Talihina, OK.
He was a painter. Leslie was
preceded in death by her wife, Lavina Corrine Adkins; sisters, Cindy Orazo and infant, Evelyn; and his parents. He loved spending time with his family,
especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his son,
Leslie Adkins Jr. of Poteau; daughter, Evelyn Marie Adkins of Poteau, OK, Rose
Marie Adkins of Poteau, Trudy Walkup of Cameron, OK; brothers, Leonard Adkins &
Harold Adkins; sisters, Alice Lemmons, Bertha Sanders, Leona Hollan, Beulah
King & Cathy Adkins; numerous
grandchildren; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Wednesday, August 21, 2013 graveside at James
Cemetery, Calhoun, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be Leonard Adkins, Leslie Adkins, James Lemmons, Gary Lemmons, Rodney Derryberry and James Hollan.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
