Midgley, 90, of Wister, OK passed Thursday, August 23, 2012 in Fort Smith,
AR. Dorothy was born November 1, 1921 in
Wister, OK to Jim & Pauline (Carpenter) Casey. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Charley Midgley; granddaughter, Janice Couch; sister, Lucille Midgley;
and son in law, Jimmie Martin.
Survivors include
her sons & daughters in law, Leon & Ann Midgley, Clifford & Elaine
Midgley, Fred & Stacee Midgley all of Wister, OK; daughters & sons in
law, Patsy Calhoun of Pocola, OK, Connie & Bruce Kelley of Wister, OK,
Deloris & Steve Stites of Alma, OK, Debbie Vaughn of Pocola, OK, Linnie
Martin of Shady Point, OK; 17 Grandchildren; 36 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great
Great Grandchildren; 3 sisters in law, Loretta Bullard of Wister, OK, Ann
Massey of Oklahoma City, OK, Margaret Donaho of Wister, OK; brothers in law,
Harrell Midgley of Poteau, OK, Maurice Midgley of Wister, OK; numerous nieces,
nephews, other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends; special caregiver, Trish Hildebrand.
Services will be 2
pm, Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Ellis Chapel Church
in Wister, OK with Rev. Jack Covey & Rev. Jim Cook
officiating. Interment will follow in Ellis Chapel
Church, Wister, OK. Pallbearers will be Joe Donathan, Steve
Donathan, George Midgley, Lance Midgley, Jimbo Calhoun, Justin Kelley, Mike
Martin.
The family will be
at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives
& friends.
