Janie was born on October 19, 1941 to Ova (Weaver) Leflore and John Wesley Leflore and passed away on September 9, 2022 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 80.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Floyd Ernest “Jack” Leflore, Paul Leflore, and Joe Leflore. Her sisters Aileen Aary and Wynona Monks and a sister-in-law Isma Leflore.
Janie was the baby of 6 children. She was an Oklahoma Sooner fan most of her life. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, and her dog Pepper.
The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, OK
