Ellen Frances Tom, 69, of Poteau, OK, passed away January 7, 2021.She was born June 10, 1951, in Silsbee, TX, to Jim and Helen (Sheffield) Bowen. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Barbara Alexander.
Survivors include her husband, James, of the home; brothers, Robert, James, & John Bowen; sisters, Bea Bea Joliff, Sharon Bowen, & Nita, McCleskey; children, Jeanetta & husband Chuck Garrett, of Valliant, OK, Mitchel Prewitt, of Tulsa, OK, Richard Prewitt, of Golden, OK, Chenelle & husband Tony Campos, of Broken Bow, OK, Crystal Burcham, of Eagletown, OK, James Tom Jr. and wife Joanna, of Lake Elmo, MN, Bryan Tom and wife Misty, of Hartshorne, OK, Randy Pryer, of Socorro, NM; 15 grandchildren;10 great grandchildren, numerous loved ones, and friends.
Service will be held 2pm Tuesday January 12,2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Lyn Gaskey officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Richard Prewitt, Jeanetta Garrett, Chenelle Campos, Tony Campos, James Tom, & Sharon Bowen.
