Alton Carpenter

 

Alton Dee Carpenter was born on October 12, 1953, in Cooper, TX to Mae (Adams) and Binjamin Coleman (B.C.) Carpenter. Alton was a member of the Summerfield Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Carpenter; sisters, Goldie Hollan, Iva Nell Vanhook; and nephew, Donald Carpenter.

 

Survivors include his wife, of 48 years, Kathy Carpenter, of the home; son and daughter in law, Kendall & Carie Carpenter; daughter, Raenita Carpenter, of  Summerfield, OK; sisters, Eva Nell & husband Leon Brown, of Aledo, TX, Retha & husband Jim Dehart, of Ft. Smith, AR, Janice & Allen Talburt, of Benton, AR, Cheryl & husband Eric Kuhn, of Benton, AR; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.

 

Services will be held at 2pm Thursday January 14, 2021 at Summerfield Cemetery, Summerfield, OK, with Rev. Charles Caughern officiating.

I’ve known Alton for 57+ years he was the kindest person I’ve ever known , he will be missed by so many as he touched so many .My prayers are for the entire family . I so wish I could be there, Love Bob Waits and family
