Alton Molnar, 69, of Howe, OK passed away January 5, 2021 in Howe, OK. Alton was born July 9, 1951 in Carthage, NY to Nicholas Molnar & Mary Bell ((Russell-Molnar) Miller. He is preceded in death by his mother; step father, Raymond Miller; sisters, Shirley Molnar, Barbara Snow, Linda Igo, Patricia Moody, Debra Merrill; brothers, Austin & Jolna Molnar. Alton was a truck driver, a roofer, and had his own home remodeling business. He had several nicknames; Sonny, Grizzly, Shorty, and Speedy. He loved to fish, raise chickens, and mowing( he claimed it gave him time to think and plan).
Alton loved being a father and a grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie J. Moore-Molnar, of the home; brother, Raymond Miller, of Emporia, KS; daughters, Sandra J. Tacy, of Poteau, OK, Shirley M. Baker, of Cave Junction, OR, & Sherry A Liddell, of Woodward, OK; grandchildren, Venus Hess, Faith Cunningham, Brandon, Lawson & Gracie Molnar, Ariel, Gage, Skye, Mataya, & River Baker, Tyler & Nicholas Liddell; great grandchildren, Kaydence, Raynen, & Torilee Hess.
Services will be 1pm, SundayJanuary10, 2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Nick Hess.
The family will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 3-6pm to visit with relatives & friends.
