Mildred Pauline Kilgore, 94, of Poteau, OK passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in Monroe, OK. Mildred was born July 6, 1917 in Hon, AR to John D. & Winnie (Black) Chester. She was a nurse. Mildred was a member of the Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church in Poteau. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughters, Michelle Gassaway; son, Thomas M. & sister, Dovie Ruyle.
Survivors include 5 daughters & sons in law, Jeanette & Ralph LaRosa of Monroe, OK, Sonja & Wilburn Clark of Protem, MO, Anna & Donnie Weaver of Monroe, OK, Winnie & Ron Plate of Soldontna, AK, Kathie Covey of Alderson, OK; 1 son & daughter in law, Chester & Diana Carrauthers of San Antonio, TX; 30 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Wenona Winter and Sue Robbins of Poteau; 2 brothers, J.B. & George Chester.
Services will be 10 am, Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church, Poteau with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Rocco LaRosa, Paul LaRosa, Steve Clark, Donnie Weaver Jr., Jim Carrauthers, & Bill Covey, Rickey Carrauthers & Lance Carrauthers.
