Elizabeth Dodson, 93, of Bokoshe, OK passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 in Poteau, OK. Elizabeth was born December 23, 1917 to Tom & Nina (Kilgore) Malone. Elizabeth was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett Dodson; daughter, Linda Lee Wells; sister, Mary Johnson Shirkey; and brother, Edward Malone.
Survivors include her nephews, Tom Johnson of Veedersburg, IN and Jack Johnson of Guymon, OK; special friends, Sharon Tolbert, Martha Bell, Carolyn Currens, Janie Johnston, Trebreh Brown; numerous nieces, other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday, September 12, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Bokoshe, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK. Pallbearers will be Dub Tolbert, John Bell, Gary Carver, Fred Weigart, JD Phillips, Jim Lyons. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Johnson & Jack Johnson.
