Freda Juanita Phillips, 88, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Poteau, OK. Juanita was born in Porum, OK on July 11, 1923 to H.S. & Eula (Carmell) Bowen. She was a nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; one grandson & brother, Bob Bowen.
Survivors include her son, David Phillips of Poteau, OK; daughter, Wynama Bowman of Poteau; 3 grandsons; 6 great grandchildren; 1 half-sister. June Bowen; 2 half-brothers, Dewayne Nelson & Jack Nelson.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2011 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow.
