Harold Turner, 86, of Weatherford, TX passed away Monday, September 5,2011 in Weatherford. Harold was born in Wister, OK on April 5, 1925 to Willis & Tennie Turner. He managed a lumber yard. Harold loved to fish and tell stories. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bernice; sisters Billie June Crawley & Mary Ruth Love; brothers, Denver Leeodis & Glen.
Survivors include his son Chub & wife, Ginger Turner of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren, Kandice of Waxahachie, TX, Samuel Don of Weatherford, TX, Kenneth James of Irving, TX; 3 great grandchildren; sisters & brothers in law, Ada Mae & Garland Marshall of Poteau, OK, Jimmie Gayle & Tom Marshall of Bethany, OK; other relatives & many friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Heavener Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
